Eusoff Tennis (M) ended this season’s IHG journey with their finals against Temasek Hall. The finals matches were played on all 5 courts concurrently (possibly because it’s been raining a lot recently and the matches got postponed).
For Singles, we have Dylan, Timothy Kuah, and Ben. For 1st Doubles, we have Han and Siheng, and for 2nd doubles, we have Joshua and Ito.
Timothy continued to deliver and maintain an exceptional performance during his match. Absolutely dominant throughout this season, he took the first game, then the first set, and then the first match, ending his second set 6-2. Well played and good job on the performance throughout IHG!
Ben played a difficult match against his opponent. After losing his first set 2-6, he fought neck to neck with TH, with a tied score of 4-4 that eventually led to TH taking the game 6-4. Though he may have lost this battle, there is no doubt that our freshie captain will come back stronger next season. Dylan also had a hard fight against TH, losing both sets 1-6. For their first IHG, both of these players really showcased commendable levels of skill and composure, and they can only go up from here.
Han and Siheng’s match was another entertaining watch. Han seemed to be somehow coaching up his team while playing his game at the same time, casually watching the other games while winning his own with Siheng. This power combi ended up taking the second set 6-4, and with a match score of 2-0 they secured Eusoff’s second win.

Joshua and Ito continued to showcase their phenomenal chemistry on the court, shifting left and right in perfect sync just like the Mii character. They had the toughest fight among the tennis team, and their court ended up as the tiebreaker match to determine which hall would take the overall win, as the other courts wrapped up their games with a score of 2-2. Their first set ended with a tiebreaker, losing narrowly with a score 6-8. Their second set was much stronger, and they dominated with a score 6-2. The pressure was mounting for the boys in this decider set. With the crowd of yellow and white having all eyes on them, and IHG champion title on the line, our freshies really fought hard till the very end, but unfortunately lost 5-7 in a tiebreaker to TH.

Our boys really played their hearts out and it was an emotional loss. Regardless, their undying passion for the sport and their burning desire to win filled the atmosphere during the finals, and we believe that they will emerge from this loss a lot stronger and determined. To Eusoff Tennis, please take a well deserved break and we will support your comeback next season!
