Welcome to todays match everybody, and today our table tennis boys are playing against Raffles Hall, who upon scouting, I learnt is worse than KR, which explains the smiles the boys had before the match. But no matter the strength of their opponents, our boys will put on their best fight and try to bring it home.
Keith played first. This time he finally brought his own jersey (I think?). The match was kinda wonky since half of Temasek was having dinner in the DH while the other half was used for the table tennis match. Keith’s form is looking food today, and with some super spin serves and technical shots, Keith took the first set easily. As always, Keith’s serves were really slay, coupled with his super high service throw. Keith seem to go easy on his opponents as he is not aggressive but still dominated the table with nice accurate shots. Im pretty sure by the third set he was falling asleep, as he brought home a clean win for the first game.
Next we have Donovan and Hengkai, who were not at their best game today. Donovan hit off the table not long after the match started and they made various mistakes of their own. But admirably they were able to laugh it off and slowly warm up to the game and after taking a close first set, they did a few good shots. Really popped off- their smash made RH return a sky ball that may have gone into someone's dinner on the other side of the DH. Then RH decided to change shirt in the middle of the match, maybe to sike us? But that didn't work cuz we took the match 3-1, giving them one set to brag about.
A strong pair consisting of Donovan and Hengkai who comfortably took the game
Third, we have Jared, who looked pretty calm. He took the first two sets really easily, but RH seemed to wake up their idea and put up a fight for the last match. With some missed shot by Jared, RH took the lead first, but Jared’s sheer strength broke through and he gained the lead back again and never let RH have it again. With admirable control and determination to end his match early so he can rest more, Jared took the last set 12-10.
Fourth we have our second doubles pair who also took the W for the team. Denzel had some aggressive shots and the two of them were so fast I wasn't sure what was going on sometimes. RH took the third set after we won the first two, and this probably gave our boys some pressure although the win is already safely pocketed by us. The fourth match was at a standstill, with the score going from 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4…but after Hengkai said some inspiring words to the boys, they were able to break through and win the set for Eusoff.

Lastly, Adam is up. He made the game look really easy with very nice smashes and control. He is on a solo show tonight by the way. There were some intense rallies but Adam persevered through them well and was able to show RH who is king. With nice shots and an intense end to the last set, Adam won the set 18-16: good fight RH!
