Overall Score: 5-0 to Eusoff
The boys team started off their IHG season with a solid 5-0 win against PH. The whole thing ended in about 20 minutes but I will try my best to explain what happened. Also, everything happened so fast that it was too hard to take note of the individual scores… but the average score was about 11-3.
The first three matches happened simultaneously, with singles Heng Kai and Russell, and doubles Bwee and Carlin all playing at the same time. Russell secured the first win of the day, delivering many powerful smashes, ensuring his very quick 3-0 victory- the first win for our boys that day! The OP Y4-Y1 doubles, Bwee and Carlin, finished off their opponent soon after, and the two boys walked off court to the thunderous applause of the remaining 7 members of the team. Despite his back pains from carrying the team, Heng Kai secured a strong defeat against his opponent, all while looking super cute! Although he knocked the net down with one of his powerful shots, all was forgiven by the convening team.
To backup the claims made in the above paragraph...
Eusoff : PH
3 : 0
The next two matches were played side by side, with ex-captain Chee Wan the Boomer playing the final singles match, and freshie pairing Joash and Nicklaus playing doubles. The Boomer took the first two sets very comfortably, and to spice things up, decided to play the final set with a very *different* grip on his bat. Fortunately for him, he still won…
Chee Wan gets ready to secure another point for Eusoff... no kick!
Fresh-faced Joash and Nicklaus took the final set of the day with cheeky smiles on their faces, securing the final win for the boys team! Good job to these 3 baby faced boys who ensured a solid 5-0 win for Eusoff!!
Joash and Nicklaus looking cheeky indeed...
