Today is the last game for our boys this season, and they sure look ready to win the championships even during warm up.

First up, we have Keith playing the first singles. It is a tough match as TH slowly caught up from 9-7. The ball crawled over the net for TH and made it their set point. TH then net and its 10-10 deuce. Keith pushes it wide and it was 11-11, and with a lot of hardwork, Keith finally finished the set 13-11. The second set begins and Keith serves really well. TH smashes the net and Keith is leading by 3 points. Keith does good backhand shots and TH cant return it, widening the gap even more. Keith did a spinny push and TH could not return it. Keith flicked his wrist and the set was his, 11-6 to Eusoff. With a huff and puff, Keith is back in it. Keith smashes hard, but TH was able to return it, and the ball slightly missed the edge of the table. It was now 3-5 to TH. Tight, I know, but Keith got it, with 2 sets under his belt. Keith returns wide and TH misses the ball, but it was set point for TH. This set and the next went to TH, but thats ok because Keith definitely got the next set. TH seems a bit tired as he cannot return Keith’s shots. TH smashes hard but Keith returns it. TH nets and the point is 5-4. Then Keith went on a roll to 10-4. TH tries his best, bringing the score to 10-6, and Keith brings it back to eusoff with 11-6.

Keith unleashing a powerful forehand shot as the TH supporters just look on in awe

Next our IVP god doubles were up: Bevan and Hengkai. Bevan is our dual-paddle wielding legend btw. Bevan is all smiles as the game start, confident of the win. Hengkai smashes good, serves good…what can’t he do??? Their balls went by in a flurry and the set was Eusoff’s at 11-5. Ben commentates that their skill level is too high already. Bevan backhand smashes the ball and TH cannot receive it. However, with some nice smashes, the set goes to TH. Third set starts and Bevan does some silky returns. TH smashes it wide and the set is ours. Hengkai smashes well and TH player smacks into the table. Ouch please take care. But guess it helped cos TH was catching up. But Bevan returned TH’s shots with some quick shots. Hengkai ends it with a smash and takes it home 12-10.

Unstoppable pair Bevan (right) and Hengkai enjoying the match as they slowly destroy TH

Our second singles Wan Kang is up. Man was the spotlight of our game during semis…he played so freaking well it wowed even our own team. WK returns wide and receives the hard smashes by TH. TH climb net and WK returns wide. Wankang smashes hard and TH skies it. YOU HOW GOOOOD. He is speedy af and so good at returning smashes. WOw. Wankang smashes a top spin that TH cannot return. There were sick rallies and all and after a tough fight, EH wins the first set. By now our on-site commentator is quite tired and he is hoping that wk would end it in three sets. And uhh I think that it will. Wan Kang is bossing the table rn with some insane smashes that are super clean and fast. It is 6-1 to EH right now. There are some long and fast rally and WK comes out on top. The second set goes to WK. He finishes it strong with 11-5 for the last set and EUSOFF ARE IHG CHAMPIONS. Double champions lFGGGGGGG.
