For the 7th event of the day, it was 50m breaststroke (M) represented by Ben khoo and Saimun. Our first swimmer Ben finished in just 35 seconds and landed in 3rd place!! This is an insanely fast record according to other swimmers and Ben managed to hit it despite only going for 3 training sessions prior!! Next up, Saimun with a good dive landed well ahead of his competitors and engaged in a tight fight for second place. After some struggle in between, he won the tight fight!!! And achieved second place with 36 seconds.

Next up, it was the 50m breaststroke (F) represented by Krystal and Jillian again. Seems like this pair has mastered freestyle and breaststroke well enough to represent BOTH individually. Our Ulti TM Krystal and media director Jillian fought hard with their opponents and emerged second with personal records!!

At this juncture, it was time for our competitive swimmers to start swimming their second or third events, with some even participating in back-to-back races. Nerves were high but they were all the more determined to push through, perform well and hit personal records.

The ninth event of the competition was the 4x50m breaststroke relay for men, featuring Joash, Dean, Chen How, and Sihern. Joash impressively swam without goggles, earning him admiration from his teammates and others. Eusoffians cheered loudly from the sidelines, adding to the excitement of the event. Dean, known as a talented swimmer, lived up to his reputation, while Chen How and Sihern put in valiant efforts, with Sihern attempting to close the gap in the final leg of the race. Despite their efforts, the team ended in fourth place, but their determination and sportsmanship made them true winners in the eyes of everyone present.

The 10th event of the competition was the 4x50m breaststroke relay for women, featuring Jamie tan, Minghui, Branda, and Shannon as the team members. Jamie tan started off strong and was in a tight fight with another competitor for first place. However, Minghui was underwater for so long and swam so quickly, allowing Eusoff to take the lead. Branda took over and maintained the lead in first place!! Ex-capt Shannon dove in and pulled a visible gap from other swimmers. Eusoff came in first place, marking their first win of the day!!!

With the first win, our swim team pushed forward with the next event, the 4x50m freestyle (mixed) relay with Ethan, Jared, Jamie tan, and Minghui. Despite completing the previous race just a few minutes prior, Jamie tan and Minghui were not nervous and gave it their best for their last event. Vice capt Ethan created a huge wave when he dove in, and gained speed on the other competitors. Showing why he is the team's captain, Jared was incredibly fast and managed to place first. Jamie tan pushed her muscles to the limits, and Eusoff was maintaining first place, but Temasek was starting to catch up. Lastly, Minghui dove in and gave it her all, HEAD-to-HEAD with a male swimmer from Temasek. Finally, they touched the wall and Eusoff won second place, just a few seconds shy!! An honorable mention also goes to the KEVII hall team, who continued pushing through the race even though everyone else had finished almost a minute ago. On the sidelines, people started encouraging and cheering them on. The team spirit shone from all the swimmers that day, and it was truly a great sight to see.

The final event of the competition was the 4x50m medley relay, showcasing all of the different swimming styles. This final race started off with Branda doing backstroke, Ethan with breaststroke, Jamie Ong with butterfly, and Jared with freestyle. With almost all of the captains participating, they were determined to perform their best. Branda kickstarted the race with backstroke, moving so quickly that she seemed like she had eyes on the back of her head. In fourth place, Branda engaged in a close fight and emerged in third place before Ethan took over. Ethan, as usual, gave a strong performance and pulled the team up to a tight fight for second place. Jamie Ong was next, performing the difficult butterfly stroke, staying underwater for so long to gain speed on the competitors. Lastly, Jared with freestyle, he was so fast that people on the sidelines could only track him with their eyes. The next thing we knew, his hands slammed against the wall!! The results were being processed and Eusoff emerged in second place!

In summary, the swim competition was a success for the Eusoff team, with the team landing second place overall!! Each member of the team put in their best efforts, pushing themselves to the limit and leaving everything in the pool. The team's determination and sportsmanship were on full display, and the Eusoff community cheered loudly for all the competitors, showing their support for not just our own team but for all the teams involved. It was clear that the team had strong camaraderie and team spirit, which was evident both in the pool and on the sidelines, where Eusoffians gathered to cheer loudly for the swimmers. It was a truly exciting and memorable event for everyone involved.

Smiles all around as our swimmers managed to achieve personal bests after months of intense training
