It’s the second and final day of the Floorball Carnival. High from their wins from the previous day, the girls are pumped up to fight hard and secure this year’s championship title.
Floorball (F) v KE
From the start, the KE players started attacking and it was clearly anyone’s game. Unwilling to let KE have it easy, Ke En stepped up and took over possession from KE and made a beautiful cross to Celine. Unfortunately, the ball was caught by the keeper. As soon as she stepped into the court after a change in line-up, Shi Ying took a shot straight past the keeper, earning Eusoff’s first goal !! Shortly after, a flawless cross was made to Pei Xuan who was right at the front of the post at a crucial moment. With the flick of the wrist, the ball flew right into the post, extending our lead to 2-0. The period ended right after Zoey made an insane cross to Elis but the shot was slightly over the post.
Period 1: 2-0
Nat with a shot! Shi Ying with a shot! Hasya with a shot! The girls basically had 5 men in the attacking zone as they ferociously attacked. Nat made another attempt towards the post but the ball bounced off the keeper’s head. It was time for star, Elis to show her many talents as she steals possession and makes a shot. Unfortunately, the shot was slightly off target. Eventually, a brilliant top left corner shot by Shanice widened our goal margin to three goals. The girls were on a roll! The period ended with a score of 3-0.

Period 2: 3-0 to EH
Right from the get-go, Captain Gin attacks but it was saved by the keeper. As the offence was advancing, our keeper, Not-so-sober Giraffe, Weilynn, was working very hard as the last line of defence as she made multiple sensational saves!! Nat then shoots from mid court and just as we thought the keeper made a save, THE BALL SLIPPED OUT OF HER HANDS!! 4-0 to EH!! In the last few minutes, KE alpha-ed and bagged two goals but it was futile as the lead was simply too big. Right before the final whistle, Pei Xuan crosses the ball to Elis who taps it in and IT WAS A GOALLL. The game concluded with a score of 5-2.
Period 3: 5-2 to EH
Floorball (F) v KR
The game started with a free hit for KR but the ball was easily handled by our defenders. Determined to draw first blood, there was a lot of hustling and scrambling at our attacking zone as the girls attacked RELENTLESSLY. As the girls increased their pressure on KR’s defence, KR’s defence was solid and it was clear that a minor slip up will be costly. Zoey attempted to make a cross but three KR defenders were hunting her down, leaving her with no choice but to give up possession. A free hit was awarded to Eusoff but the shot by Nat came across slightly wide as the ball went just over the post. A brilliant shot was also taken by Tennis captain Le Yi which went straight into the hands of the keeper. Fouls after fouls, the match was really a bloodshed as the ref was seen running out of the court for his dear life. The first period ended in a deadlock 0-0.
Period 1: 0-0
The next period also kicked off with a free hit to KR but our wall of defence is just impenetrable! An Qi, Ke En, Nat and Celine also demonstrated flawless passes as KR struggled to intercept. Seeking to bag the first goal, Vera flicks the ball towards the post as she looks for options. Both Nat and Ke En were ready to receive! Will we score? Ref calls for foul. Really anti-climatic. A hand ball by one of KR players resulted in Eusoff being awarded a penalty hit. Who will take one for Eusoff? It’s none other than SHANICE !! Shanice vs Keeper, all eyes were on them. Unfortunately, SAVED! by KR keeper SO CLOSE! The score remains at 0-0.
Period 2: 0-0
The pressure is on and a long range shot by Gin which slightly misses shows how she commands the game. Shortly after, KR is awarded a free hit but trusty Briana blocks it with ease. Really no kick for her. Fantastic effort by Xin Yi as she makes a good sweep towards the post but the shot is intercepted by KR. A sensational block by GIRAFFE WEILYNN as a KR attacker comes charging towards her. As the team counters, a tap in by Nat with an assist from Ke En earned Eusoff a 1-0 lead over KR!! The goal was so stunning and the keeper really didn’t see it coming. As the game was about to conclude, KR came in with a shocking equalizer and the game ended in a draw 1-1.
Shanice was a force to be reckoned whenever she stepped on the court!

Floorball (F) v RH
It’s the last match of the day and IHG for the girls and whether or not we take home the championship title boils down to this final match. IT WAS THAT EXCITING. One minute into the game, Beast Zoey bagged a goal for Eusoff. It was just like a WALK IN THE PARK. Right after, Celine added her name to the scoreboard and we were up by two goals. TWO SUPER SOLID GOALS. A tap in by Xin Yi then easily extended Eusoff’s lead to 3-0 and I can barely keep up as the girls were on FIRE. But I wasn’t the busiest, RH keeper practically had no break as the girls reigned their attacks towards the post. The goal margin was then extended to 4-0 as Zoey nicely curved the ball into the net, ending the period with a score of 4-0.
Period 1: 4-0 to EH
Despite having a comfortable lead, the girls were not going to take it easy. Shi Ying, Pei Xuan, Van and Shanice took shots towards the goal, putting RH defence and keeper to the test. A tap in by RH then brought the scoreline to 4-1. Unwilling to let it slide, keeper Ritha made some superb saves as RH looks for loopholes in our defence. The scene near the box was chaotic but by some insane stick work, Van taps the ball in and IT’S ANOTHER GOAL FOR EUSOFF!! A mid-court ball by An Qi just CASUALLY rolled past the keeper EZ GAME AN QI!! Period ends with a score of 6-1 as the girls slayed it.
Period 2: 6-1 to EH
Can the girls make it 10 goals? DRIBBLE, TURN & SHOOT! Zoey has done it yet again and is another goal for Eusof!! Nat with the attack, Briana with a sick shot, Zoey with the try, the girls are really pressing it on. BEEEEP AND THE GAME ENDS WITH A FINAL SCORE OF 7-1!

The girls have done it!! They secured the G.O.L.D, TRUE CHAMPIONS!! Good job EUSOFF and thank you all for your support to the girls!!
