On the third day of Eusoff’s Inter-Block games, it was the most packed with 3 sports, kicking off the day with Football, followed by Ultimate Frisbee both taking place on the field. And to finish the day with basketball at our Multipurpose court at night.

Football being one of the hotly contested sports in Eusoff, the intensity was imminent from the get go as C block vs D block was the first fixture of the tournament. Both sides featuring talented players, such as CJ the 21/22 Eusoff Football captain and an array of IVP footballers. It came down to the wire, and a decisive goal from D block was the only thing separating the two from that match. D block looked like favourites to win after a convincing 6-1 thumping against E block, however, the matches following were very closely matched, as 4 out of the 5 last matches ended up in a 1-1 draw. It was neck to neck between A and C with only 1 pt being the deciding factor between 2nd and 3rd place. Likewise Only 1 pt separated B and E from 4th and 5th place, with D block being 3 points clear on the top of the table. The overall ranking are as follows:
D
A
C
B
E
The next sporting event was Frisbee and once again took place on field 1. It was D block once again that looked promising in this event as they kickstarted the games by scoring 5 in their first two matches. The pressure was on C block in particular to maintain their lead at the top of the overall IBG leaderboard while D block was hounding them from behind in second, making a case for themselves as potential champions. The battle for 4th and 5th was on between A block and E block with E block eventually outrunning A block 2-1. The next game was just as cut-throat as it was the decider for 2nd place between B and C. B block eventually claimed the victory just by a slim margin 5 to 4.

The matches were highly competitive yet fun throughout, and the final rankings for IBG ultimate frisbee came back as follows:

The final sport for day 3 was the much anticipated IBG basketball, which followed the FIBA 3x3 format. The first few games went on as planned, however, there were some technical difficulties with the lights which were carried on from the previous days. Despite this obstacle, in true eusoffian fashion we overcame this problem by getting lights from EW (shoutout to EW and SMC heads for the clutch solution). As the show went on there were sparks of talents put on display by our freshies guys and girls. There was an interesting match up between A block and E block guys aside from Xinlong A block comprised of only freshies, whereas E block had two powerhouse seniors Khan and Jovi. It was a battle between youngbloods and oldheads, and the experience of the seniors prevailed over the fresh first years. It was a heartwarming sight to see as the court was surrounded by supporters from different blocks cheering each other on as one Eusoffian community.

It was a great effort put out by all blocks to show up despite the technical difficulties and play through. The final standings for IBG basketball were:
E
B & C
A
D
